Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter

BWC is a privately owned Company specialising in earthmoving, structural retaining, transport and mining for the civil construction industry. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter to join our team based in Crestmead (Browns Plains). Suitable candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of fault diagnosing, with a strong commitment to safety and experience working with a variety of heavy vehicles.

The Role:
In this role you will primarily be required to perform late shifts from 4pm to midnight in our fully equipped workshop, servicing and maintaining our fleet of 30+ heavy vehicles. You must be able to work without supervision as part of a small team, but under the direction of the Workshop Supervisor.

What You Need:

The successful applicants will possess the following:

  • Trade qualifications or certificates essential (apprentices considered);
  • 5+ years experience with heavy vehicles
  • Unrestricted Open Driver’s Licence
  • Strong fault diagnostic skills

An advantage but not essential:

  • HC Truck Licence
  • Blue/White Card
  • Air conditioning experience

This is a permanent role for a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter looking for a long term position in a friendly environment. We offer an attractive hourly rate (including shift loading) based on experience and opportunities for further training for the right applicant. A pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening will be required. An immediate start is available.
