We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team in Kooragang Island, NSW.


The Exciting Opportunity

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be a hands on team player performing maintenance and repair work professionally and in accordance with the company’s safe operating procedures.

Your day to day duties will include routine maintenance and repair work to heavy vehicles and workshop equipment, transmission repairs, reviewing work orders, conducting vehicle servicing and communicating with both internal and external clients.

You will demonstrate a positive commitment to safety and have a strong focus on rolling out the red carpet for our customers!

Your Responsibilities

  • Heavy diesel vehicle servicing from minor repairs to major rebuilds
  • Broad range of technical diagnosis and fault-finding
  • Reviewing work orders and inspections of equipment
  • Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure daily work schedule goals are achieved


Your Skills and Knowledge

  • Qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic
  • Good knowledge in all facets to maintenance of road transport equipment
  • Experience working on Scania and Iveco trucks highly desirable
  • A team player with ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to develop rapport with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
