The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be part of the Heavy Haulage team, leading and overseeing the day to day operations.

Ideally, you will have 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role with strong financial acumen and a demonstrated track record of running a successful business operation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining a highly professional customer support relationship within the Operations, Special Projects customer base sharing all communications, both positive and negative with Regal Transport management at all times
  • Fostering and a leading your team to achieve both business and personal goals
  • Ensuring all work undertaken is entered into the freight management system [Translogix] in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Ensuring all revenue generated is correctly invoiced to the customer in a timely and accurately manner
  • Ensuring all sub-contractor cost incurred is correctly accrued and accounted for in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maximising effective utilisation of assets
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies, systems and procedures
  • Ensure the security of all Company’s property, including information and customers’ property within the site.

Selection Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the transportation requirements
  • 3-5 years experience in a leadership capacity of a similar role
  • Strong and effective communication skills, ability to build rapport with both internal and external clients
  • Strong understanding of P&L, business financials and the maximisation of company assets
  • A hands on approach and a lead from the front approach
